Rangpur Lime

Tree Size (as shipped):  26 – 30 inches
Mature Tree Size (Approx. 10 yrs): 12 – 14 feet

Its name is a bit deceiving as the tart, reddish fruit is more mandarin-like than lime. This fairly vigorous tree has a few small thorns, mandarin-like leaves and small flowers with purple tinged petals.  Tree is primarily used as a rootstock, but many enjoy its’ tart flavor.  It is reported to be fairly cold tolerant.
